Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, travel arrangements, and services offered by Ramani Africa Escapes Ltd. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. Booking and Confirmation
All bookings must be made by writing (email or through our website) and will only be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit. A confirmation invoice will be issued once the deposit has been received. The person making the booking accepts responsibility for ensuring that all members of the party comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payments
A deposit of 30% of the total cost is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. The balance is due 30 days before departure. For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or any other method agreed upon.
3. Prices
Prices quoted are based on tariffs and exchange rates current at the time of booking. We reserve the right to adjust prices in case of currency fluctuations, government taxes, parking fees, or fuel surcharges beyond our control. Rates include accommodation, meals as specified in the itinerary, transport, parking entry fees, and guide services. Rates exclude personal expenses such as visas, travel insurance, tips, drinks, laundry, medical expenses, and international flights (unless otherwise stated).
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing and will be subject to the following charges: More than 60 days before departure: Deposit only 30–59 days before departure: 50% of total cost Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, excluding any non-refundable costs incurred on your behalf (such as airline tickets or third-party services).
5. Alterations by the Client
If you wish to update your itinerary after booking, we will do our best to accommodate it, but additional costs may apply. Any changes are subject to availability and supplier terms.
6. Alterations by the Company
We reserve the right to update itineraries, accommodation, or services due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, safety concerns, or operational requirements. In such cases, we will offer suitable alternatives of equal or greater value where possible.
7. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. This should cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal accidents, baggage, and loss of funds. Ramani Africa Escapes Ltd will not be liable for any costs arising from failure to obtain adequate insurance.
8. Responsibilities and Liability
We function as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport companies, and other service providers, and we cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by their services. While we take all reasonable measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip, participation in tours is at your own risk. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents, visas, vaccinations and comply with all entry requirements.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or government regulations.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking with Ramani Africa Escapes Ltd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.
