Serengeti National Park Tanzania
The Serengeti, from the Maa word Serengit meaning “endless plains,” is Tanzania’s oldest park and one of the world’s most iconic safari destinations. Spanning 14,750 km² of golden savannas, dotted with rocky kopjes and acacia trees, this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a year-round spectacle of wildlife.
At its heart lies the Great Wildebeest Migration — over two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle journeying across the plains in search of fresh grazing, shadowed by lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. From dramatic river crossings at the Mara and Grumeti to predator-prey encounters on the open plains, the migration is one of nature’s greatest shows.

Serengeti National Park
Beyond the migration, the Serengeti teems with life: elephants browsing woodlands, giraffes stretching for treetops, hippos wallowing in pools, and over 350 bird species — including Africa’s largest ostrich population. The park boasts the highest predator concentration in Africa and is home to endangered species such as black rhino, wild dog, and cheetah.
From sunrise game drives across dew-drenched grasslands to sundowners under blazing skies, the Serengeti delivers unforgettable moments — whether in the bustling high season (June–October) or the quieter, equally rewarding low season.
