Welcome to Nairobi, a vibrant city undergoing a cultural and artistic renaissance. After a brief introduction, you’ll be transferred to the charming Hemingways Nairobi for a restful start to your journey.

With just 45 expansive suites, this plantation-style haven offers space, light, and timeless elegance — each suite measuring 80m² and opening onto a private balcony with sweeping views of the Ngong Hills.
From the moment you arrive, our personalised service sets the tone. A dedicated butler attends to your every preference — from your choice of tea to how your clothes are pressed — ensuring effortless comfort throughout your stay.

DAY 02

suyian camp

This morning, we fly north to the spectacular and unspoiled wilderness of Suyian Conservancy, a 44,000-acre private reserve in the heart of Laikipia. As the flight unfolds, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Kenya’s diverse terrain — sweeping savannahs, ancient riverbeds, and rugged escarpments that hint at the wild beauty that awaits.
Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airstrip and transferred to Suyian Camp, a secluded retreat nestled along the banks of the Ewaso Narok River. Set within this pristine and ecologically rich landscape, the camp offers immediate immersion into a world of rare wildlife and raw natural beauty.
Suyian is a haven for conservation, home to iconic species such as elephant, lion, leopard, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and a remarkable array of birdlife. The conservancy also boasts some of the highest densities of endangered wildlife in Kenya — a true stronghold for biodiversity.
Beyond the game viewing, this is a place where conservation and community thrive together. Your stay here directly supports critical wildlife corridors, sustainable grazing practices, and local livelihoods.
With just a handful of tents tucked into the wilderness, Suyian offers unmatched peace, privacy, and authenticity. Whether on a guided walk, sundowner drive, or simply listening to the sounds of the bush, your experience will be one of deep connection — to the land, the wildlife, and the people who protect it.

SUYIAN CAMP – A Place to Belong
Thoughtfully designed and deeply rooted in place, Suyian Lodge invites you to slow down and connect — with nature, with people, and with yourself. Every space is crafted for comfort, curiosity, and calm.
Design That Reflects the Land
Inspired by the surrounding granite kopjes, the lodge’s flowing curves echo the wild landscape. Interiors follow an Afro Wabi-Sabi style — raw textures, natural tones, and subtle cultural details drawn from local communities.
Wellness in the Wild
Secluded among rocks, the wellness centre is a space for quiet renewal. Two treatment rooms overlook the conservancy, complemented by a steam room, cold plunge pool, and serene verandas.
Where People Gather
Shared spaces — the lounge, map room, library, and Samburu bar — encourage both conversation and solitude. Meals are relaxed, fireside evenings memorable, and the atmosphere always warm and easy.

DAY 03 & 04

Full Days in the Wild: Beyond the Game Drive at Suyian
At Suyian, days unfold naturally and fully — with time to explore, learn, and connect. Each moment is shaped by the rhythms of the wild and guided by a deep respect for land and culture.
Game Drives
Begin and end your day with guided game drives through 44,000 acres of private wilderness. With few other vehicles in sight, you’ll enjoy intimate wildlife encounters — from Grevy’s zebra and African wild dog to melanistic leopard and striped hyena. Afternoon drives often continue into the night, revealing rare nocturnal species.
Walking Safaris
Leave the vehicle behind and explore on foot. Guided walks offer a slower, more intimate way to discover Laikipia — tracking prints, identifying birds, and reading the landscape’s subtle signs. Each walk is tailored to your pace, revealing a quieter side of the bush.
Horseback & Camel Safaris
Spend your day riding across open plains or walking with camels through ancient landscapes. These peaceful, low-impact safaris bring you closer to wildlife and allow for deeper immersion. With experienced guides, even beginners can enjoy a gentle introduction to safari on horseback or learn about pastoral traditions on a camel walk.
Hands-On Conservation
Join herdsmen in the field and experience conservation ranching firsthand. Once a cattle ranch, Suyian now balances wildlife protection with sustainable grazing — an evolving model where people, livestock, and nature coexist in harmony.
From sunrise to starlight, each day at Suyian is filled with meaning, adventure, and quiet wonder — an invitation to experience Laikipia in its raw, beautiful form.

DAY 05

loirien camp

This morning, we board a scenic flight to the legendary homelands of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations.
Upon arrival, we embark on our first game viewing drive across the sweeping plains of this world-renowned reserve. The Maasai Mara is a breathtaking landscape of open savannahs, meandering rivers, seasonal marshes, and patches of riverine forest—all teeming with life.
Covering 650 square kilometers, the reserve boasts one of the highest densities of wildlife anywhere in Africa. During the Great Migration season, up to a million wildebeest and large herds of zebra make their dramatic entrance from the neighboring Serengeti in Tanzania, offering an unforgettable wildlife spectacle.
The Maasai Mara is home to all of Africa’s iconic “Big Five” — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo — as well as a rich array of other species such as cheetah, jackal, eland, baboon, ostrich, and the elusive bat-eared fox. The Mara River and its tributaries are alive with crocodiles and pods of hippos, adding to the drama of the landscape.
With its remarkable biodiversity and ever-changing scenery, the Maasai Mara offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Expect an awe-inspiring introduction to this wild and vibrant ecosystem.
LOIRIEN CAMP
Tucked away in the exclusive Partakilat Conservancy, LOIRIEN Mara is an intimate safari retreat where wild beauty meets refined luxury. Designed for travelers seeking privacy, comfort, and meaningful connection to nature, the lodge features three elegant villas — LOIRIEN, KULAAL, and NAIKA — each offering indoor-outdoor living, private terraces, infinity pools, and sweeping views over the iconic Mara plains.
Days are filled with unforgettable experiences — from game drives and rhino trekking in search of the endangered Northern White Rhino, to hot air balloon rides and immersive cultural encounters with the local Maasai. For something truly extraordinary, take to the skies on a helicopter safari over the Great Rift Valley.
Whether dining under the stars, relaxing in your villa, or exploring the wonders of the conservancy, LOIRIEN Mara delivers an experience where luxury, conservation, and adventure exist in perfect harmony.

Full Days in the Maasai Mara – Game Drives & Optional Adventures

Immersive Safari Adventures in the Maasai Mara

Spend your day immersed in the wonders of the Maasai Mara, where early morning game drives offer the best chance to witness the drama of the wild unfold. As the sun rises, predators are on the move, and the plains come alive with activity — from galloping zebras and towering giraffes to lion prides and graceful antelope.

For a truly unforgettable start, opt for a hot air balloon safari (at additional cost), gliding silently over the savannah as the first light touches the horizon. From above, take in the breathtaking scenes of the Mara: wildebeest herds on the move, elephants at watering holes, and lions stalking their prey. After landing, a champagne bush breakfast awaits — a moment of pure safari magic.

Return to camp for a leisurely lunch and some downtime, then head out again in the afternoon for another exhilarating game drive. The Mara’s rich ecosystem is home to all members of the Big Five, including elusive leopards, the endangered black rhino, large herds of buffalo, and the iconic black-maned lions. Rivers teem with crocodiles and hippos, and over 450 bird species fill the skies. During the migration season, witness one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth — the Great Migration.

Your adventures can go even deeper:

  • Walking Safaris: Explore on foot with expert guides, encountering the wild up close.
  • Rhino Trekking: Track and observe majestic northern white rhinos.
  • Helicopter Safaris: Take to the skies to access remote corners and sweeping panoramas of the Mara.
  • Fly Camping: Spend a night under the stars, with just canvas between you and the sounds of the wild.
  • Cultural Immersion: Visit a traditional Maasai village and gain insights into ancient customs and daily life.
  • Farm Visits: Meet Ankole cattle and discover sustainable farming initiatives.
  • Star Safaris: End your day stargazing under pristine African skies, guided by local astronomy experts.

Whether you’re capturing big game through your lens, tracking rhinos on foot, or dining by lantern light beneath the stars, the Maasai Mara promises moments
