KAREN BLIXEN ESTATE KENYA – Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages is set in what used to be Karen Blixen’s old coffee farm estate, in the heart of Karen in beautiful gardens and a peaceful suburb approximately 20 miles from downtown Nairobi, Kenya. It is located in a beautiful peaceful setting on Karen Road, about half a mile from the Karen Golf and Country Club, it is the site of the original farmhouse which was part of the Blixen property.
Renowned Danish author Karen Blixen, famous for her memoir Out of Africa, lived and worked on the estate from 1917 to 1931, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire visitors worldwide.
