The Mara North Conservancy (MNC) is a breathtaking wilderness area of approximately 69,160 acres. It is the largest conservancy and an integral part of the Maasai Mara ecosystem as it forms the north-western zone that borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The aim of the conservancy is to create the best practice, outstanding conservancy with long-term conservation of the environment, wildlife and members of the local community.

Mara North Conservancy
The Conservancy is a partnership between fourteen member camps and 700 landowners. Mara North Conservancy is one of the most populated wildlife areas within the Maasai Mara ecosystem. It is home to the Leopard Gorge which is a vital birthing and maternity ground for the big cats such as lions and leopards. The conservancy is also home to the eye-catching Lemek Hills, an important sanctuary for the extremely threatened African wild dogs. The park is accessible by air with daily scheduled flights departing Nairobi from Wilson Airport.
